DC Comics just showed Batman’s d*ck on-panel for the first time

HOLY NOT SAFE FOR WORK WARNING, BATMAN

Batman first appeared in Detective Comics issue 27, all the way back in 1939. After nearly 80 years of adventures, he has fought hundreds of villains and been all over the world. He’s been into space, and we’ve seen both future and past versions of the Dark Knight. He’s starred in movies, TV shows, cartoons, and video games.

You’d think that after all that, there’s nothing new for DC to do with Bats. No new secrets to reveal. No original takes on the character. Nothing that hasn’t already been done.

But DC has done it –they’ve found the one thing that’s never been done with Batman before.

The Dark Knight has got his doodle out.

Yes, for the first time ever (we hope), an official DC comic book showed Bruce Wayne in full-frontal nudity.

This week saw the release of the first issue of Batman: Damned, the debut title of a new imprint named DC Black Label, which is intended for mature audiences.

It is lives up to that billing, presenting a dark and twisted take on the Caped Crusader. The Joker is dead, but Batman can’t remember what happened, so he dives into Gotham’s underbelly to find both the Joker’s murderer and the route of his amnesia.

But that doesn’t matter. What is important is this scene:

Ok, why? Why did we need to see Batman’s dick? Was it that vital to the storyline that we got to see the Bat-Schlong? Will he defeat Two-Face by waggling his appendage around in front of him? Will this replace the Bat-Signal?

Find out, same Bat-Time, same Bat-Channel.
