Some supporters of Ligue 1 side PSG unveiled a banner in support of defender Achraf Hakimi, days after it was confirmed he will stand trial for a rape allegation.
Hakimi, 27, has denied the allegation against him, reported in The Guardian to have taken place three years ago in Paris, and this week said: "I calmly await this trial, which will allow the truth to come out publicly.”
Hakimi was in action for PSG just days after learning that his case would go to court, playing all 90 minutes in his side's Champions League play-off second leg against Monaco.
Before the game began, a group of supporters unfurled a banner that read: "Achraf, total support."

According to The Mirror, the banner was brought to the game by a fan group called PSG's Collectif Ultras.
The match ended 2-2, allowing PSG to qualify for the next round of the competition, after they had won the first leg 3-2 away at Monaco's Stade Louis II.
Following the victory, Hakimi's side are set to take place in Friday's (27 February) draw, where they will learn their next opponent.
