As Premier League football gets more popular, the teams’ stadiums keep getting bigger.

Arsenal have made the move to the Emirates, while Manchester City are now well at home in the Etihad. Even Tottenham and West Ham are getting new grounds in the very near future.

Now it seems that it’s Chelsea’s turn to get an upgrade, as they have proposed increasing the capacity at Stamford Bridge by almost half, up to 60,000.

The proposal would give Chelsea the third largest stadium in the Premier League, just shy of Arsenal’s 60,260-capacity Emirates Stadium – although Tottenham’s new ground is expected to seat 61,000 by the time it is finished.

Some people on the internet think it reminds them of some familiar household objects though…
